"Exalting the Savior, Equipping the Saints & Evangelizing the Sinner"

    Ephesians 4:10-15

He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things. And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: That we [henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.

Pastoral Reflections - Sunday, March 6, 2011

The Word of God is critical for our growth and development as Christian's. Without God's Word in our lives we lack what is most needed to be like our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is extremely important for us to prioritize the study of God's Word. As Christian's we should be familiar with the Bible. We should know about its make-up and structure. We should know about the various translations. It is important for us to know major themes in the Bible, dates, places and doctrines. Every Christian should own a study Bible and use it with as much frequency as possible.

Dr. Drew E. Marshall, Senior Pastor

As you continue to grow in your spiritual life at Trinity Church I strongly challenge you to be active in the Sunday School ministry. This is an excellent opportunity to share once a week in a disciplined Bible Study. Wonderful lessons are presented to follow themes that help us grow together as a Church family and individually.

Tuesday and Wednesday Bible Study presents us an opportunity to be inspired by God's movement in the lives of biblical personalities. We are also challenged to grow spiritually as we are directed by the Holy Spirit to person-ally embrace and live the messages we learn from the various texts.

The investments you make into your own personal Bible Study will always yield you spiritual blessings. The time you spend in Bible Study and prayer will always prove to enrich your life as a Christian. Convenience yourself to increase your commitment to studying God's Word.  Know your Bible. It is the doorway to knowing God and understanding His ultimate love for you and His good and perfect will for your life.
