Young Adults Ministry

Mission Statement

We the young Adults of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church plan to reach other individuals for Christ through evangelism.  We will relate to one another as brothers and sisters in Christ with compassion, support and understanding without judgment.  We will endeavor to walk as Christ-like as possible with the help of the Holy Spirit, scripture, prayer and faith.  We will sacrificially serve our Christ, our church under the leadership of our pastor, our community and one another - - all for the glory of God.

INFUSION.  Infusion is the addition of a new or necessary quality or element to something.  We understand that in Ecclesiastes 1:9 the thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.  In Habakkuk 2:2 the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.  This is what the Young Adult Ministry is purposed to do, adding a piece of our culture, our age, our interests to God’s word, which is never changing, to make it plain among nations.

INFUSION MANIFESTO.  We are hereby committed to the reality of God; we stand firm believing that His Word is true, powerful, and everlasting.   For it says in Hebrews 4:12 the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart

We are hereby committed to the covenant relationship described in John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.  We are committed to the relationship not just religious practices or principles.  It is in the covenant relationship that we are granted our inheritance.

We are hereby committed to the sacrificial offering as it is stated in Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  We understand in order to commit to God wholeheartedly we have to mortify the deeds of our flesh daily.  We want to make sure that our living is acceptable in God’s sight.  We are hereby committed to the work that God has called us to do.  In Matthew 16: 24 Jesus said unto his disciples, If any man will come after , let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.  It’s not about us, everyday we must looked to God to govern our day, issue our assignments, and order our steps.

We are hereby committed to reaching the lost by proclaiming the Gospel which according to Romans 1:16 for I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth.  It is critical that we spread God’s word because in 2 Corinthians 4:3 but if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost.  And in Hosea 4:6 it says my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge.  We can not allow our brother nor our sister to be destroyed when we are given the opportunity to witness unto their lives.  Jesus says in John 14:12 verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.  We are challenged to uphold the mantle and utilize the power and authority deposited in each of us.  We can supernaturally change the nation by tapping into the spiritual realm of God.
