Trinity Christian Academy
The Trinity Christian Academy (TCA) is committed to providing its students with educational excellence based on traditional academic standards that are consistent with Biblical truths. Ultimately, producing mature, Bible-dependent students.
Our academy has a loving, nurturing and structured environment, with a student/teacher ration that encourages individual attention. The TCA limits class sizes. Classes will not exceed 15 students.
TCA admits students of any race, color national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
TCA is a non-denominational Christian School and is open to all children who are willing to follow the schools requirements and regulations. Students are admitted based on an interview held with parents or guardian, a review of prior student records and determination of compatibility based on students test performance and interviews with the students. All students will receive religious education.
We do not require that students or families attend our fellowship but we do require parents/guardians to be supportive of our goals to religiously educate our children. We expect the home to support and cooperate with the school in matters of program and policy.
Grade placement assessments will be administered to determine appropriate placement. Students entering kindergarten must be 5 years of age before October 1st of the school year.
Our Academy program consists of kindergarten through fourth grade. The kindergarten program provides a good foundation for a successful school career. Grades K through 4th curriculum consists of: Biblical Emphasis, the basics of English/language arts, reading, math, science and social studies. Our program is enhanced by Special opportunities in art, music, computers, physical education and Spanish.
Discipline is not solely punishment but is a way of helping our children become productive, mature Christian adults. Our discipline objective is to have children willingly obey those who have authority over them. Parents and schools must work together to develop well-disciplined students.
The school day begins promptly at 8:45am with our daily devotion and ends at 3:30pm. Breakfast is served at 8:15am. Lunch is served at 11:30am. We also offer a latchkey program. Our latchkey program operates from the hours of 7:00am 8:15am and 3:30pm 6:00pm.
