Trinity Child Development Center
The Trinity Child Development Center (TCDC) is committed to providing educational excellence for 2 ½ - 4 yr olds. It is consistent with Biblical truths.
We offer small child to teacher ratios. Therefore, only a very limited number of children can be accepted into this program.
TCDC admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the center.
Students are admitted based on:
- Interview held with parents or guardians.
- The child being potty-trained
- Completion of enrollment checklist:
- Completed health appraisal signed by a physician
- Immunization record
- Birth Certificate
- Child information card
- Assessment (if needed)
- Fees
All students receive religious education. Devotion is a part of the school day. We do not require membership in Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, but we require parents/guardians to be supportive of Biblical principles.
The TCDC students are instructed daily in God’s Word in their Biblical Emphasis class. They are taught from the A Beka Book curriculum. This Christian program is based on sound scholarship, common sense, and the Word of God. The subjects taught include: letter recognition, phonics, science, character training, math, music, safety, fine motor skills, and writing. The TCDC students are also learning Spanish basics.
Our discipline objective is to have children willingly obey those who have authority over them. We expect parents/guardians to work with school staff to develop well disciplined children.
The TCDC program is an all day program. The school begins promptly at 8:45am and ends at 3:30pm. Breakfast is served at 8:15am. Lunch is served at 11:30am. We also offer a latchkey program. Our latchkey hours are 7:00am – 8:15am and 3:30pm – 6:00pm.
